Being saved simply means that you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior because you believe that He died on the cross to forgive all your sins. Being ‘born again’ refers to the new life you’ve gained through accepting Jesus into your life. All the sin in your life has been forgiven and you are a new creation. Essentially, all our sin has been nailed to the cross with Jesus and just as He was resurrected, we too can have new life in Jesus - being Born-Again.
